Handel Messiah Hexham Orpheus Choir Director Mark Edwards
The nave and side aisle tickets are now sold out. We are making seats available in the North Transept @ £5. These will have a very limited view as the performance with take place down the nave. They are available on line, at Cogito bookshop and on the door.
Hexham Orpheus choir is performing Handel's Messiah, just a few weeks before Christmas, in the magnificent Hexham Abbey under the direction of Mark Edwards. We will be accompanied by wonderful soloists, the beautiful Phelps organ, a chamber organ, a string quartet, trumpet and timpani. We welcome a wide audience from Tyneside, Northumberland, Newcastle and beyond to enjoy this contemplative and uplifting work.

The audience will be seated in the Nave, with reduced price restricted view seats in the Side Aisle. Students are half price.
Hexham Orpheus Choir is dedicated to bringing big works of classical choral music to the Tyne Valley. Based in Hexham we have around 85 members and always welcome new singers. http://hexham-orpheus-choir.org.uk/
