Radical Co-operative Education: co-producing it in Glasgow at the Centre for Human Ecology
These are very exciting times for the Centre for Human Ecology (CHE). The current Board has been working hard over the last year to start the process of relaunching CHE as a new co-operative human ecology educational institute for the 21st century. This event will start with an update on how CHE is becoming a co-operative and our involvement with the UK-wide Co-operative University Working Group. Then, we shall be inviting those present at the gathering to design and co-produce CHEs new curriculum.
We shall also hold the AGM, where we shall be asking members to vote on CHEs final steps to becoming a co-operative, elect new Directors and approve CHEs accounts. Member consent is needed to make the transition to a co-operative as it involves changes to CHEs memorandum and articles of association.
All the Board members shall be standing down and so we are looking for new Board members to stand for election. If you are interested in this, please email: info@che.ac.uk, for more details.
