Join Clara's very special godfather and famous toy inventor, Herr Drosselmeyer, as he presents Clara the Nutcracker. Experience Clara's magical journey as her heroic Nutcracker and tin soldiers battle the maleficent Mouse King and his malicious mice. Follow Claras dream come to life as she journeys through Winter Wonderland to the Kingdom of Sweets where she is greeted by the graceful Sugar Plum Fairy.
San Jose Youth Ballet's classic Nutcracker will enchant all ages with its glittering costumes, dramatic sets, and lessons of courage beautifully danced to Tchaikovskys iconic score.
Professional guest artists, Xavier Ferla performs the role of Herr Drosselmeyer. Joseph Gatti, Diana Gomez, Benjamin Freemantle, and Madison Keesler will be performing the Grand pas de deux. Some soloist parts are double casted. Families of cast members, please review the emailed cast list.
