The Flamenco Arts Festival was founded by Vibiana and her father Alberto Pizano. It has been 20 years since its founding in 1999 and its inaugural event in 2000 with Angel Rojas and Carlos Rodriguez in their production of Flamenco Directo. Angel and Carlos are now one of the most respected artists in Spain today and are founders of the Madrid Flamenco Festival. Twenty years later the FAF is back where it all started, at the Historic Lobero Theatre with featured artist Eduardo Guerrero from Spain, Los Angeles based composer and guitarist Andres Vadin, award honoree Luisa Triana, workshops, and the official after-party.
