We are very excited to share with you a diverse series of programming that juxtaposes well-loved traditional works with newly composed pieces by contemporary composers, the classical with the popular, and the intersections among them.
Trio Virado offers a program that explores their interesting timbral combination of flute viola, and guitar. The Delphi Trio's program "The Human Connection" examines how music brings people together and connects humanity. Aris Quartette performs groundbreaking quartets of Mozart, Mendelssohn, and Grieg, and Trio Karenine's Viennese Portrait" probes the depths of romanticism through the works of Schubert and Korngold. To close the season, Thalea String Quartet will present "Legacies," which explores the American traditions of rap, rock, and bluegrass to tell stories of the Black experience. We look forward to enjoying these amazing performances with you this season.
