MEDIATE (www.me-di-ate.net) has been bringing innovative art and experiences to the Bay Area for the past ten years including this fifth season of the acclaimed summer-long avant-arts festival, Soundwave (www.projectsoundwave.com). MEDIATE has commissioned performances and exhibitions on moving buses, in WWII bunkers, historic churches, famed sculptures, city parks and art institutions and museums in the Bay Area. Its projects have been featured on PBS, NPR, SF Chronicle, SF Bay Guardian, SF Weekly, 7x7, amongst others, and awarded Best Sound Sculptures by San Francisco Magazine's annual 'Best Of' in 2007.
