The goal of this Community Heart Project is to shift the focus of our political leaders back to education. Citizen artists were given an opportunity to paint a heart and record their own personalized message on what education means to them.
The artwork and community voices will be delivered to the President of the United States and the Secretary of Education. Each heart flag will be a symbol of the love this community has for education and the collective desire for our political leaders to make education a priority through real legislative action. This is an art project of the people, by the people, and for the people.
