Philharmonia Northwest is proud to present its 42nd Anniversary Season!
Philharmonia Northwest was established in 1976 as the chamber symphony arm of the Thalia Symphony and has been an independent branch of Thalia Allied Artists since 1985, taking its current name in 1987. The Orchestra is comprised of approximately 40 musicians from the Puget Sound area, who volunteer their talents and perform music ranging from the works of the Baroque era to world premieres. The ensemble has recorded two albums and performed throughout the Northwest, including appearances at Benaroya Hall, Town Hall, Seattle Art Museum and University of Washington's Meany Hall.
Currently, Philharmonia Northwest presents five subscription concerts each season and makes its concert home at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Seattle.
