MAP is a nomadic, independent & not-for-profit producing company with strong ties and deep roots in the Seattle community. We favor local work and comedy that hurts a bit. We find strength and satisfaction in a highly collaborative process with everyone at the table, but we aren't self-generators - we prefer to interpret others' words & worlds. We like to discuss and debate with abandon and yet still be friends when we go home afterwards.
MAP's goal is -above all-always to laugh and have fun, meet new friends, greet old friends, and continuously push the boundaries of what traditional "theatre" is and bust the stereotypes of who "theatre" is for. It's for the people, my friends. No fooling.
