Verse and Vodka Theater was an accident. We never dreamed that staged readings of classic plays in an Elks Club with the bar open the entire show would be a success. We thought we were doing a one-shot production. To our shock, people asked for more evenings out with beautiful plays, cheap drinks, and actors who can literally end up sitting on your lap
A Verse and Vodka show is about having a good time while appreciating the work of masterful playwrights. We believe that the words of the playwright are paramount, congenial company improves any theatrical experience, and plays should touch our hearts and our minds (even the plays that made us roll our eyes in high school).
