Theatre Delicatessen is the trading name of CurvingRoad Ltd, registered company in England and Wales 06114448, registered charity 1121987.

Theatre Delicatessen is led by artistic directors Jessica Brewster and Roland Smith, with production manager Fergus Waldron.

MAKING IMMERSIVE THEATRE

Theatre Delicatessen creates theatre that explores, challenges and blurs the relationship between artist, audience and performance space.

By working with ensembles of artists and performers we are able to stage breathtaking performances that redefine text-based theatre and open up established plays to new audiences.

SUPPORTING EMERGING ARTISTS

At the heart of all Theatre Delicatessen's work is the commitment to support new and emerging theatre artists by providing space for them to develop ideas, creating opportunities for them to share new work and through offering advice, mentoring and assistance in realising their productions.

Alongside young artists, Theatre Delicatessen aims to help those people who are looking to change direction later in life, and are looking to pursue their artistic vocation.

BUILDING CREATIVE SPACES

By establishing innovative partnerships with the commercial sector, Theatre Delicatessen transforms disused buildings into creative hubs that provide a live space for artists and the wider community.

Theatre Delicatessen is currently resident in the ex-BBC London Studios at 35 Marylebone High Street. Over the last 12 months, Theatre Delicatessen has transformed this 6 floor building into a  creative hub, incorporating performance spaces, rehearsal rooms, artist studios and production spaces.
