Community Lunch on Capitol Hill

Community Lunch on Capitol Hill works with hundreds of volunteers from throughout the Seattle region to provide nutritious meals to homeless and hungry people. 40,000 hot lunches were served last year alone. Lunch is served each Tuesday and Friday at Central Lutheran Church, and supper is served each Thursday at All Pilgrims Church. The lunch is  open to everyone and is always free. In addition to a full hot meal, we provide a social worker, mental health counselors, medical assistance, clothing, toiletries and a free book exchange.
