Dancin Unlimited Jazz Dance Company (www.jazz-dance.org), founded in 1973, is a non-profit, professional jazz dance company whose mission is to promote, produce, and present jazz dance, a uniquely American art form. Under the artistic direction of Marilyn York, the company creates new and exciting programs each year with an emphasis on variety and technical excellence. The dancers are accomplished performers with extensive classical dance training and performance experience.
Dancin Unlimited has a repertoire that ranges from classical to contemporary jazz dance, from the Big Band era to Broadway jazz dance. With an eclectic jazz dance program, the company performs in many venues for corporate events, conventions, trade shows, fairs, festivals, schools, and special events. For the past 25 years, Dancin Unlimited has produced and performed in the annual Jazz & Tap Dance Festival as part of a commitment to bringing the art of jazz dance to the community.
