King's College

Welcome to King's College Theatre, located at 133 North River Street in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

The Department of Theatre is a dynamic and intensive educational program with experienced professors, an active production season, and scheduled workshops, guest artists, and special events. Students of all walks of academic life participate in theatre production activity.  
As a non-profit theatre organization, King's Theatre aims to provide a solid background in the various aspects of theatre as a whole.
Each year, the theatre presents four main stage productions, including a Shakespeare selection, a tradition for over 60 years.
In addition to its regular season, King's Theatre produces multiple Brown Bag Theatre Series, performances that are presented in the middle of the school day, which give students and faculty the opportunity to bring a lunch, watch a show, and take a break.
Evenings of One Act Plays are also presented each semester. These plays are entirely student run, from directing to acting to lighting to costuming. This gives students the chance to work together in all aspects of the theatre to produce, as aptly titled, an evening of one act plays.
