Tansi, this project is a full-scale cabaret style Cree musical, developed through engagements in First Nations communities, and presented in both Canadas theatres and community halls, written by acclaimed Cree playwright Tomson Highway. The work connects ashinoowin (story telling), ayamoowin (language), and paapoowin (laughter). This show, supports Indigenous language revitalization, and will tour throughout Canada. Building on each performance to share with Indigenous and non-Indigenous audiences.
