Comprised of members originating from various regions, THE BEAT HORIZON was formed with the goal of creating danceable, high-energy music. Combining influences as varied as reggae, funk, afro-beat, latin and ska, the sound is eclectic and upbeat.
Drawing on the legacy of performing, members of The Beat Horizon have played and shared the stage with such greats as: Michael Franti and Spearhead, Culture, Toots and the Maytals, Black Uhuru, Wyclef Jean, The English Beat, Burning Spear, De La Soul, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, The Wailers, Bruce Hornsby, Melisa Etheridge, The Skatalities and Yellowman.
