For over 25 years, Destiny Arts Center has been transforming the lives of young people in and around Oakland with a safe, creative and inclusive place to express themselves through movement arts. In our modern space, Destiny offers a curriculum for youth ages 3-18 that incorporates modern and hip hop dance, martial arts and performing arts through a culture that embraces diversity and eschews violence and prejudice in all forms. Destiny%u2019s dedicated and talented teacher artists bring a focus on self-respect, honor and courage into their instruction and annual performances. Destiny serves more than 4,000 kids each year through classes at our new center and in after-school programs throughout the East Bay.
