The Massry Center for the Arts serves as the venue for the education and enjoyment of art and music at The College of Saint Rose. The magnitude of the 47,000 square foot Massry Center, located prominently on Madison Avenue, reaches far beyond the boundaries of the College's Art and Music Departments.
The building was designed to utilize state-of-the-art green technologies and was awarded the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold standard. It includes the 5,000 square foot, 400-seat Katherine McManus Picotte Recital Hall, the 2,200 square foot Esther Massry Art Gallery, an 80-seat choral rehearsal room, a 100-seat instrument rehearsal room, teaching studios, percussion studios, practice rooms and classrooms.
