Michael Korn, Music Director since 2008, has created interesting and beautiful programming for the orchestra. Under his baton, many Boston area soloists have been featured including Victor Romanul (violin), Emmanuel Feldman (cello), Kenneth Stalberg (viola), Noune Karapetian (soprano), and Susan Hagen (double bass). Recently, the orchestra performed a U.S. Premiere of the four movement completion of Schuberts Unfinished Symphony B-minor D 759 by Dr. Benjamin-Gunnar Cohrs. Dr. Cohrs, a German composer and scholar, worked closely with the orchestra and Mr. Korn to create a successful, incredible experience for the orchestra. This spring, the orchestra will be uniting with high school students from Oliver Ames Concert Choir and Chamber Orchestra for an all Faure program. The Sharon Community Chamber Orchestra continues to pursue and fulfill its mission of serving the community and providing meaningful musical experiences for its members.
