California Native Plant Society-San Diego United States
The San Diego chapter of the California Native Plant Society (CNPS) was chartered in 1972 with the purpose of studying, gardening with, conserving, and educating others about the unique native plants of San Diego County. Membership has grown to over 800 families and individuals. Monthly meetings are in Balboa Park with speakers presenting a variety of botanical, horticultural, and conservation topics.
