Northport Plays is involved with many different theatrical activities in the Northport, NY area. The Northport One-Act Play Festival is an annual event in the spring which presents a weekend of many short plays written and produced by the local theater community. One part of the weekend is devoted to a free program focused on a teen problem. The Northport Reader's Theater meets once a month to do cold readings of new plays. Northport Improv works with SEE Saw Comedy to present the Annual Laugh Off, comedy shows, and improv workshops.
