Three Imaginary Girls is Seattle-based website that showcases the great music of the Northwest to music lovers worldwide.
The site launched in June 2002 to document the show-going escapades of three music fans with boundless enthusiasm for the burgeoning music scene around them. Since that time, the site has grown to include reviews of albums, live music, film, theater, interviews, political commentary, and even love advice, in Seattle and beyond. The site thrives on constantly discovering and nurturing great new bands and sharing them with the rest of the {imaginary} world.
The girls also book music showcases, contribute to other music publications (including The Stranger, the KEXP blog, Seattle Sound, Tablet Magazine, and Music for America), and make guest radio appearances on 90.3 KEXP. The girls were voted %u201CMVP of Seattle Music 2004%u201D by readers of the Seattle Weekly, and were listed in Seattle Magazine%u2019s 2004 Most Influential People issue as well as Seattle Sound%u2019s 2006 Most Influential in Seattle Music issue.
