The Public Theatre of Kentucky

The Public Theatre of Kentucky is a nonprofit organization, housed in the Phoenix Theatre, dedicated to enriching the cultural life of Bowling Green and the surrounding region through the production of high quality theatre and other performing arts events. Also known as The Phoenix Theatre, Inc. of Bowling Green Kentucky, we also house the Sunburst Youth Theatre which provides educational and performance opportunities for the youth of the region. We hope you will visit our intimate little theatre, having been called 'the jewel of Bowling Green' either to see a show, to participate as an actor, technician, or to volunteer. We proudly promote 99% local artists, taking great pleasure in providing a creative outlet for the promotion of their talents as well as a high quality venue for the community to visit, enjoy, and revel in the artistic abilities of their friends and neighbors.
