What The Boo?!?
Founded in the summer of 2007 by University of Houston graduates Emily Hynds and Julie Gomez, BooTown was from the start a collaborative effort. Other founding members included Greg Hundemer, Philip Hays and Cathy Davis. In the three years since, Greg and Julie have moved on to other cities, but the %u2018Town has grown into a edgy, indie theatre institution, producing a series of monthly storytimes, a yearly festival, several plays and more under the oversight of Artistic Director Emily Hynds.

BooTown is dedicated to creating fun, original, collaborative theatre using interdisciplinary methods in non-traditional settings in order to cultivate new audiences.
