The Comedy Corner Underground

Established in 2005
The Comedy Corner Underground was originally just a dark dingy basement in which an open mic was held on Fridays*. After being open for 3 years the room was closed on a technicality in the Minneapolis liquor code requiring the same level of license as a strip club(Full article: http://bit.ly/jA4mT   or if you want to really go crazy you can watch the video of the City Council meeting here: http://bit.ly/KmeTp4).

After reopening the club has soon become an integral part of the large and competitive Minneapolis scene. Featuring shows that truely can't be seen anywhere else in the midwest like our Triple Feature and Men with Hats shows. The Comedy Corner is a place you won't soon forget visiting.
