Legal Council for Health Justice--founded in 1987 as AIDS Legal Council of Chicago--uses the power of the law to secure dignity, opportunity, and well-being for people facing illness or disability.
Legal Council provides "legal care" to people with HIV, individuals facing homelessness, and children with disabilities and chronic illness.
Beyond providing free, immediate legal assistance to some of the most vulnerable among us, the Legal Council educates the impacted communities, services providers, and the general public, as well as engages in statewide advocacy and policy initiatives. |
