Sarasa Chamber Music Ensemble

The Sarasa Ensemble has received critical acclaim for its "informed and impassioned music-making" and is hailed for its "great clarity" and "irresistible energy." Drawing on a pool of more than eighty musicians from the United States and Europe, the ensemble varies in size according to the particular type of program with repertoire ranging from the 17th to the 21st centuries. The ensemble produces the Sarasa Chamber Music Series in Cambridge and Concord, Massachusetts and has toured throughout New England performing on other series, including the Frick Collection, the Morgan Library, the 92nd Street Y, the Boston Early Music Festival Series and the University of Vermont Lane Series.

Sarasa's public concerts coexists with their outreach in juvenile detention centers. Sarasa is dedicated to bridging cultural, aesthetic, and economic barriers and providing teens in juvenile detention centers with opportunities for growth and enrichment through music.
