Wily West Productions formed in 2009 to provide a locally run, locally cast, locally produced outlet for new plays by Bay Area playwrights. The production team members have a combined background totaling several dozen productions of various sizes and budgets from New York to Salt Lake City and San Francisco. Wily West is now in its third full season and has produced critically acclaimed and award-winning productions. We value not only quality production elements, but strive for a creative and fun production environment.
Wily West Productions seeks to celebrate the collective imagination and encourage the exchange of ideas by presenting innovative and thought-provoking plays in the city of San Francisco. We nurture local professional theatre artists and we contribute to the American theatre by commissioning, developing and presenting world premiere plays.
