Since 1985, the STAR Program has become one of the best programs available for youth interested in theatre and video arts. Over our rich history, STAR Arts Education (formerly known as the Gavilan STAR Program) has become a summer tradition for many families and an important part of hundreds of children's lives. We are very proud of the efforts of our dedicated staff, supportive STAR families and friends, and especially our talented STAR kids, many who return summer after summer to participate in the program! Together, we will continue to keep the performing arts alive and thriving in the South Valley communities we serve.
