Las Vegas Jewish Film FestivalHenderson, NV
All You Need is Light! The 15th annual Las Vegas Jewish Film Festival is our community's annual celebration of Jewish drama, comedy and documentary from around the world.
The LVJFF utilizes the art of film and interactive educational discourse to inform and strengthen our Jewish community while creating a forum where local Jewish organizations and synagogues (the LVJFF Presenting Sponsors) can provide cultural enrichment to their constituents, promote themselves and generate revenue.
The LVJFF also provides positive cultural outreach to the non-Jewish community by promoting diversity awareness and tolerance through greater understanding of Jewish identity, history, and culture. The LVJFF helps to promote solidarity with Israel by presenting films that showcase Israel's cultural, social and political significance. Additionally, the LVJFF helps promote Holocaust education and the local Survivor community.
The 2016 LVJFF is produced by the Desert Space Foundation and the Adelson Educational Campus, with major support provided by the Adelson Educational Campus, the Adelson Family Foundation the Jewish Federation of Las Vegas, the Jewish Community Center of Southern Nevada the Israeli American Council , and generous contributions from numerous donors in our community.
