Northwest Sinfonietta

Northwest Sinfonietta is a nationally acclaimed chamber orchestra of the highest caliber that performs in Seattle, Tacoma, and Puyallup. What is a chamber orchestra? Well, it's a smaller ensemble of 30-40 musicians that plays much of the same music as a symphony orchestra (typically 70-80 musicians). The genius of the chamber size is that you experience music in a much closer fashion; while symphony orchestras can produce an impressive "wall of sound" a chamber ensemble allows you to hear each musical line and phrase with greater intent and transparency.
