The Volunteer Park Conservatory stands as the focal point at the north end of Olmsted-designed Volunteer Park in Seattle. This historic building in one of only three Victorian-style glass houses on the west coast. It consists of five houses: the Palm House, Seasonal House, Fern House, Cactus and Succulent House and Bromeliad House. As its designers had envisioned when it was built in 1912, the Conservatory is a hub of educational activity for the community as well as an extremely popular tourist destination.
The Friends of the Conservatory are a 503 (c) non-profit committed to preseving and empowering the Conservatory and her collections through outreach and education. Memberships are available.
