The Music of Junk

Witness The Music of Junk, a concert of inspirational invention and uplifting stories told in symphonious song November 18-22, 2015, 7:30pm in the Waterfront Theatre (1412 Cartwright Street). The much-anticipated adaption of the praised 2014 Fringe Festival musical will capture imaginations with a fascinating array of instruments crafted from discovered objects, and played to original music and lyrics, which pay tribute to the eco-conscious, timely adage, %u201Cone man%u2019s garbage is another man%u2019s gold.%u201D From the %u201CBarrow Bass%u201D built from a wheel barrow, to the %u201CGarbuitar%u201D constructed of hub cans and an old telephone, the multi-talented cast masterfully drum, strum, tap, and sound their instruments to heartfelt ballads, spirited beats and resounding harmonies that will have audiences singing and dancing in their seats.
