Arje Shaw is a playwright and author, produced on and Off Broadway. His critically acclaimed play %u201CThe Gathering%u201D in 1999, featured Theodore Bikel and Jesse Eisenberg at The 91street Playhouse and Hal Linden at the Broadway Cort Theater in 2001. His 2004 off-Broadway hit %u201CMagic Hands Freddy%u201D was produced at The Soho Playhouse, with Michael Rispoli and Ralph Macchio, published by Samuel French. Mister Shaw%u2019s first play %u201CA Catered Affair%u201D was produced off-Broadway in 1995, with producer George W. George. Mr. Shaw%u2019s novel, %u201CThe Fix%u201D, based on his life, was published in 2011 by New Library Tales and his latest play %u201CMoolah%u201D stars Mario Cantone, scheduled to open in New York in 2015. Currently, he is producing rap artist Devon Glover in The Sonnet Man Project, setting Shakespeare%u2019s Sonnets to Hip Hop.
