Being Brave
A star-studded cast will come together for Being Brave An Evening to Celebrate Survivors at the Nicholas Music Center in New Brunswick, NJ on Friday, November 8, 2019, 8 PM.
The event will honor women who strive to live their lives free from violence. We will showcase our support for these women with permanent, affordable housing to highlight the importance of the "housing first" model.
Lisa Guerrero, Inside Editions award-winning, internationally acclaimed, Chief Investigative reporter, will host Being Brave.
Lisa will be joined by Tarana Burke, founder of the #MeToo Movement and social justice activist.
Tarana Burke will be the first recipient of the Tarana Burke Being Brave Award for outstanding leadership in breaking the cycle of abuse.
Award-winning performers, The American Repertory Ballet Co., NJ Secretary of State, Tahesha Way, and other notable guests will also be highlighted.
Through song, dance and spoken word, join us on the evening of November 8th to witness the challenges and triumphs of survivors seeking a forever home.

If you wish to sit in a different seating section but would like to attend the pre-show event an added $50 donation to your ticket price will provide you access to the pre-show event.
