Join the WSU Regional Small Farms Team for a presentation and discussion about cucumber beetles and the Integrated Pest Management strategies for managing them. Both striped and spotted cucumber beetles are difficult to manage and have become more frequent and impactful pests in crops such as squash, cucumbers, dahlias and others in western Washington.
Webinar Highlights:
- Lifecycle and Identification: Understand the biology and identification of these pests.
- Management Recommendations: Learn research-based strategies for effective pest control.
- Farmer Insights: Hear from local farmers, Brian MacWorter of Butler Green Farms and Teddy Krause from the Kitsap Conservation Districts GRACE Garden, about practical tools and techniques they have found useful.
Interactive Discussion: Engage in a dynamic discussion and share your experiences with fellow farmers. Your participation is highly encouraged to foster a collaborative learning environment.
