In this workshop we will go over:
basic tools
regular home maintenance
how to change a flat tire, and lube the chain
basic tune up points
what to stock in your saddle bag for repairs while riding
Aidan Gilhooly-Gage is a Davis local and professional bike mechanic with a decade of experience working in local shops including B&L Bike Shop (before it closed in 2021), Ken's Bike and Ski, and route support for Foxy's Fall Century, The California Coast Classic and 6 years doing rider support for Climate Ride's Green Fondo. His specialties are wheel building, overhauls, commuter bicycles, and rider support.
