Robinson Ballet presents Mosaic: Odaralph on March 29 and 30 at the Orono Performing Arts Center. Robinson Ballets Annual Mosaic performance highlights the companys long history of creating diverse and exciting works of dance in all styles. In Odaralph, Robinson Ballet pays homage to the late founding director, Ralph Robinson, in setting his ever popular Can Can; a lively, crowd pleasing, high kicking, cartwheeling piece. Mosaic: Odaralph will also feature new works by Robinson Ballet choreographers Keith Robinson, Velstara Vardamis as well as guest choreographer, Nick Powers. Artistic Director, Stevie McGary, will set the 1998 work of Terry Lacys Orbit, an upbeat, bouncy piece to the music of Vivaldi. This evening of dance is perfect for a date night or a night for the whole family.
