As a designated Ambassador of Saint Valentine to the world, Ms. Pegoraro will bring once again to PCA her unique insight and vibrant expressive performance, featuring among other music some songs from her recent CD entitled "The Colors of Love." Her aim in this project is to tell the true story of Saint Valentine, patron saint of Terni, where she was born, known throughout the world for Valentine's Day, but totally forgotten regarding his history as a saint and how he became the protector of lovers.
Acclaimed as one of the most gifted musicians of her generation, since her formal debut in Messina at age 10 she has received more than forty international awards, has released over thirty CDs, of which six are filled with her own compositions, and has performed with major orchestras and in renowned concert halls all over the world, including Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall. In addition to a full-time teaching schedule in Rome and New York, she has written books, is the founder and President of Narnia Arts Academy and Artistic Director of the annual Narnia Festival, both in her home town of Narni, in Umbria, Italy.
