Sawtelle Studios House Concert
Please join Sawtelle Studios in welcoming another full band extravaganze for an evening of music on the Sawtelle garden patio. All ages are welcome. Light refreshments will be provided.
Meg Matsutani is an LA based musician who grew up playing piano, violin, and singing in church. She studied music through college at UC Santa Cruz, but then took a break from performing for many years before retuning in 2022. Initially classically trained, she has since started exploring other genres including funk, r&b, and soul with vocal coach Anna Montgomery. This is her first show heading up a band and picking all the music, and she is thrilled to be performing with some of the best musicians around. Aaron Kaplan, Carson Cohen, and Chris Lovejoy. Collectively, they have worked on projects with .. Rod Stewart, Norah Jones, Charlie Hunter, David Bowie, James Taylor, Britney Spears, Beck, Matchbox 20 and more!
