Healing our Heritage: Honoring Ancestral Practices, Earth, and Spiritual Pathways
This Hoodoo Heritage month we are celebrating the Black indigenous spiritual practices and rituals that have contributed to and sustained our collective resilience and healing throughout centuries. On October 26th, new, interested, and veteran practitioners and wonderers of Hoodoo will come together at the Queer the Land house to learn and celebrate in the tradition of Hoodoo, harnessing the foundational principles of ancestral veneration, earth bound wisdom, and spiritual meaning making.
Join us as Veteran Hoodoo practitioners and healing artists come together to provide a place of knowledge sharing and communion. There will be a plenary space with a guest speaker, study sessions, and healing consultations all under one roof. That's a whole lotta workin' going on! And we will all be better for it.
Get your tickets now and make sure your name is among the number!

Accessibility
The QTL house is not yet accessible for those with advanced mobility needs. We cannot accommodate wheel chairs. The house has several floors with stair access only. Access to our garden may be easier to access for anyone using a wheelchair or walking aid, but ground access is unpaved and uneven.
All restrooms are gender neutral but can only be accessed indoors. Walking up several flights of stairs is required to access the restroom.
There is ample free street parking within the Beacon Hill community. Some walking to event location may be necessary.
Masks are REQUIRED indoors. Masks are OPTIONAL outdoors. If you do not own a mask we are happy to provide one for you.
Vegan and carnivorous foods will be provided at the event. Variety cannot be guaranteed.
The QTL house is not a scent free space. Scents and smoke are essential pieces of hoodoo spiritual practice.
