Design for sustainability looks for ways to create long-term solutions to environmental and social justice issues. More than just the idea of reduce-reuse-recycle, or design for good, design for sustainability is the key element needed to take on the big wicked problems facing our world today. Rather than shy away from the enormity of the task, design for sustainability practitioners ask how often do you get the chance to remake everything we do, but get it right this time?
Join sustainability practitioners for an evening of tough questions and hopeful answers. Professionals from design, business, and government will examine where we've come from, where we are, and where we need to go, to create a healthier and more equitable future we all benefit from.
