Join us for a night of fear and laughter. Five comedians share scary stories and thoughts on the supernatural. Headlined by Juno Men, hosted by Cailtyn Zinski, and featuring Jaleesa Johnson, Torria Pace, and Javann Jones.
The comedy show will be followed by a free goth dance party.
Juno Men (she/her) is a Seattle-based comedian, writer, and storyteller. She is openly transgender, obviously Asian, and usually hungry. Her credits include the All Jane Comedy Festival, the Moth Radio Hour, the Omaha Comedy Festival, and has opened for Chris Gethard, Rachel Scanlon, and Leslie Liao. She was named Seattles Best Comedian by the Seattle Gay News in 2023 and a 2024 Undisputable Genius of Comedy by the Seattle Stranger. She performs regularly across the PNW, produces a monthly queer comedy showcase at Comedy/Bar in Capitol Hill, and can be found online at @seattlejuno on instagram.
Javann Jones (he/him) is a Seattle-based writer, stand-up comedian, and full-time negro. Born and raised in Alabama, his comedy contains a strong blend of equal parts Southern charm and brazen outspokenness. He's been described as "uncomfortably funny", as his comedy delves directly into topics of race, social justice, politics, dating, identity, and more. He is unapologetically Black and queer, though he does occasionally accept apologies from those who are not. A true fan of dichotomies, Javann is delightful but also has been called an asshole by his partner's therapist.
Torria Pace (They/Them) If you have ever felt like a dud in relationships, youre in company. Torria Pace is a relational comedian based in Seattle whose takes are fun, funky, and fresh. Whether amazed by the Gum Wall or surprised by shaving they are willing to show you the good, bad, and well I wouldnt say ugly, but the nice personality of their life.
Jaleesa Johnson has become known as Seattles lesbian Pete Davidson due to her raunchy and self-depreicating humor, as well as the fact that her ex-girlfriend is way more attractive and successful. However, Jaleesa has accomplished quite a bit in her 10 years of stand-up comedy, including a sold out cross-country podcast tour, participation in the 2015 San Diego Pride Festival, 2016 World Series of Comedy, 2016 Burbank Comedy Festival, 2016 OC Pride Festival, 2018 San Diegos Funniest Person Contest, and opened for Comedy Centrals Hannibal Buress and Andy Dick. She has also been featured in Buzzfeed, Huffington Post, SD Voice & Viewpoint, Uptown News, Elle Magazine, The New York Times, Huffington Post, The Washington Post, and more. In 2019, She won a Webby award for Best Political News podcast with her comedic show Mueller, She Wrote. She can currently be seen performing regularly all over Seattle, Washington.
