We are thrilled to announce that our next conference will be taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada in the fall of 2024. This conference will bring together academics, researchers and magicians from around the world and will feature top keynote speakers, presentations on recent research, a poster session, and performances by top performers.

CONFIRMED SPEAKERS:
Our keynote speakers will include psychologist Professor Thalia Goldstein, philosopher Professor Chris Goto-Jones, and magician/variety performer Carisa Hendrix. We will be adding more invited speakers in the coming weeks.
We are also pleased to announce that Teller will be attending as our Guest of Honor.
The conference will feature an invited symposium by faculty of the Magic & Mystery School.

HOTEL DETAILS:
Attendees can reserve rooms at the Golden Nugget for a reduced rate. King rooms in the Carson Tower can be reserved for $75/night (before taxes), and king rooms in the Rush Tower can be reserved for $119/night (before taxes).

GALA SHOW:
Las Vegas is the magic capitol of the world. How can we compete with that? Rather than host our own gala show this year, we are encouraging attendees to purchase tickets to the Mike Hammer Comedy & Magic Show at 7pm on November 13. His show happens at the Four Queens Hotel & Casino, near our conference venue. SoMA attendees will be seated together for the performance. You'll receive a code for discounted tickets after registering for SoMA 2024.
