WHAT IS A FIELD EXPERIENCE AND WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
The OSD Field Experience functions as community sponsored onsite continuing education tool. Its primary objective is to further fuel the conversation regarding the supernatural/paranormal and deepen the individual and group knowledge base. The field experience will occur in a reported "window area", or portal location. Window areas are habitat for the strange and usual. Once in this location we will embed where the phenomenon thrives with the goal of experiencing it first-hand. Potential experiences include Sasquatch, aliens, ghosts, Earth Energetics, ect. as goals for understanding and interaction.
WHERE WILL THE FIELD EXPERIENCE BE HELD?
Window areas can be very remote. For the sake of privacy and overall enjoyment, a beautiful location has been mapped out for this years field experience.The field experience site will be around 90 minutes from Sequim/Silverdale, Washington and about 2 hours off I-5 Olympia/Tacoma. The exact location will be given 48 hours from the date, but the general location is near HoodsPort, Washington.
WHAT WILL OCCUR DURING the OSD FIELD EXPERIENCE?
Primitive Camping for 4 days and 3 nights. Bring your own gear, meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks), and dependable vehicle.
Coffee/hot water, and some snacks will be provided.
Guided hikes, within walking distance from our basecamp, will happen 2x daily, lead by guest speakers and organizers.
On site courses may include, but are not limited to, The science of dark matter & quantum physics, Drone Flight & Filming 101, DNA & print collection, Tracking & Casting, Audio Recording & Review, Primitive cold weather shelter construction, Psychic & remote viewing, Thermal camera operation, IR camera operation, Night Vision operation and campfire storiesof course!

30 spots are available on a first-come first-serve basis. Advance tickets go on sale March 8th 2024.
WHAT IS THE cost?
Advanced tickets 4 days $150 until July 4th NO REFUNDS
Ticket prices go to your field guides honorarium, travel, tech, presentations, food lodging and snack tent.

WILL I HAVE TO SIGN A WAIVER WHILE ONSITE?
You will be asked to sign a voluntary waiver for your safety and ours that will include the following
I am of the understanding that ....Olympic Strange Days: Field Experience is not responsible for my voluntary attendance at this function. I will come with the understanding that I have experience in primitive camping, or at least the the physical ability to do so. I will attend the function with a plan for my own individual needs regarding safety, meals, shelter, health, and mental fortitude. I will bring NO DRUGS/NO HARD ALCOHOL. I also understand that I may be asked to leave the OSD Field Experience if any of the above is not adhered to or for any safety concern without refund. I am over 18 years old.
