New Horizon Ranch, Inc. is a therapeutic horseback riding center located in Rantoul, Kansas and currently offers Hippotherapy, Therapeutic Riding, Equine Assisted Learning, Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, and Summer Day Camp programs to individuals of all ages with physical, cognitive, social, emotional and learning disabilities.
MORE ABOUT THE KENTUCKY DERBY:
The Kentucky Derby is a stakes race for 3 year-old Thoroughbred horse held annually in Louisville, Kentucky on the first Saturday in May. The race is one and a quarter mile at Churchill Downs. The race is known as "The Fastest Two Minutes in Sports" for its approximate duration and is also called "The Run for the Roses" for the blanket of roses draped over the winner. No more than 20 horses can run in the Derby and the line-up may change right before the race time. It is the first leg of the Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing.
