SORRY - THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT!
International bestselling historian Yuval Noah Harari discusses the long, tangled anthropological history of humans and the challenges that lay ahead of us in the 21st century.
Building off the huge success of his full-length history of mankind, "Sapiens," Harari visits Kepler's to deliver a look into the future in the way that only he can. As we overcame famine, plague, and war, "Homo Deus: A Brief History of Tomorrow," the sequel to "Sapiens," looks to the all-too-human quest toward deification.
Harari has a PhD in History from the University of Oxford and now lectures at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, specializing in world history. His research focuses on broad questions, such as: What is the relation between history and biology? Is there justice in history? Did people become happier as history unfolded?
Kara Platoni is an award-winning science journalist and the author of "We Have the Technology."
