Instructor Bio: Lance Hoffman started in the film business in late 1970's with Ned Kopp & Company. He worked in television commercials for several years and learned the live action of process, PREP-SHOOT-WRAP on dozens of productions. Hoffman has worked with many high profile directors: Rick Levine, Adrian Lyon, Bob Giraldi, Joe Pytka, Ridley Scott and others.
Hoffman founded McQuaid/Hoffman: Location & Production Services, which offered assistance to national and international clients. Eventually they branched out into feature films as location scout and manager, working with high-profile clients such as Alan Parker (Shoot the Moon), Harold Ramis (Bedazzled), Richard Gene (Final Analysis), and Clint Eastwood (True Crime).
Hoffman also has extensive experience in low budget films: "Mistress of Spices", "Swing", "Black August", "Eye on the Sparrow", "Chaw", AND television series: "Nash Bridges", "Partners in Crime", "Parenthood", and "Trauma".
