Yemanja Festival 2010
BrasArte presents our annual Yemanja Festival in honor of the Yoruba goddess Yemanja. This festival of music and dance will feature master dancers and musicians from Brazil and Cuba with emphasis on the different styles with which the goddess is celebrated in these two cultures.
There will also be a photography exhibition with the theme of Yemanja.
Doors open at 7:00pm and the show starts at 8:00pm. Come early to see the exhibition and to enjoy a caipirinha and Brazilian appetizers ( for sale in the lobby)!
