March Topic: Food Safety and Food Defense It may be delicious, but what exactly is in the food on your plate, and where did it come from? At this month's Cafe Scientifique, ponder food's role in public health and safety and discover how an increasingly complex food supply chain can make it difficult to locate threats. With Koel Ghosh, a research fellow in the University's Department of Applied Economics who studies food safety, food health and food defense.
